Nomination in SGH Quality Improvement Project
Dr Tan recently earned a nomination for the 'Quality Improvement (QI) Project of the Year (2022)' at SGH Quality Convention. This nomination acknowledges exceptional projects that leverage structured improvement methodologies to achieve high-impact outcomes.
Service as Clinical Assistant Professor
In addition to his medical responsibilities, Dr Tan actively contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education. He serves as an appointed Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS, a Clinical Lecturer with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, a Core Faculty Member with Singhealth’s Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency Programme since 2016, and has been a valued OGSS council member since 2021.

Dr Tan's involvement in medical research is noteworthy, with publications in both local and international peer-accredited journals. He has also presented his research findings at various conferences and public forums in Singapore and abroad.
Language Proficiency
He is proficient in English, Mandarin, Bahasa, as well as Chinese Dialects (Hokkien and Cantonese) which allows him to converse well with both local and overseas patients.

Furthermore, Dr Tan holds accreditation to practice at several prominent healthcare institutions, including all Parkway hospitals: Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Parkway East Hospital, and Gleneagles Hospital.
